The surveys acknowledge that while each area is important and should be a priority, there are scarce resources and they should be focused in certain areas based on the most urgent priorities.

At the same time, the surveys format gives management more tools to accurately signal resources in one direction or another. Using the average ranking of each category and other Statistical analysis of the data received, we can see what the majority of the population wants to prioritize and further invest our resources, instead of guessing what each cardinal number means.

There will further examples of the statistical applications of the data received another time, which will be more in tune with people’s preferences.

So who should set the priorities? The customers! How do we do that? By getting feedback from customer surveys that use subjective ordinal rankings that are critical to characteristics

Now that you have some examples, there has to be a method to analyzing the data received. That will be covered in a another post 🙂
