How To Get The Most Out Of SEO In 2 Simple Steps

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) can make or break a big chunk of your online marketing efforts. If you want to make money off of it, you might as well get it right the first time with these two steps…

You can use it with any potentially profitable keywords you find. In fact, more pay-per-click advertising may come your way because of it.

Ok, so with any keyword that gets a good amount of searches and good cost-per-click and pay-per-click measures, here’s the first the step to get the most out of it:

Step 1: Write an article based on the keyword

Most Search Engine Optimizers try to stuff their web page with the keyword to get a higher ranking, but this is a loser strategy. Search engines like Google hunt down these sites with complex algorithms and they destroy any chance that page will show up on a keyword search.

Instead, write an article related to the keyword, and you can pepper the keyword in the article every so often to increase your rank with the search engines (but not too often, once per 5-6 sentences is usually the max). The article doesn’t need to be too long, but to get the most chance for money out of it you need to do this…

Step 2: Make your keyword based article useful and valuable to searchers of that keyword.

People often search for keywords for different reasons. Some are just curious, some have a particular site in mind already, and a few are search that keyword for a solution to a problem involving that keyword.

You should target your article to the people who are looking for a solution to a problem. They’re more likely to pay for solutions. The trick is finding which problem your searcher is looking to solve when they’re searching on that keyword. Once you see one, make an article about advice or suggestions for solving it. This will attract readers to other related articles to your site and possibly some of the products and services you sell. The better advice you give to solve their problem, the more they’ll trust you and more likely buy from you.

For example, if a highly searched keyword is “broken glass” you can write an article or two on “how to clean up broken glass” or “how to safely take broken glass out of a wound” (depending on what your services you’re offering)

Trust me, this is the kind of stuff search engines want high page rankings for. This is the winner strategy in the search engine game. That’s why blogs tend to get higher rankings easier than plain websites (plus blogs are updated more frequently)

So if you’ve searched SEO to find this article, you have proof you’re SEO problem is solved 🙂
